Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron as the hosts the 2014 IFDS World Championships

The International Federation of Disabled Sailing has chosen the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron as the host of the 2014 IFDS World Championships.  This will be a qualifying event for the 2016 Brazil Paralympic Games.  There will be 3 fleets competing: 2.4 mR (one person), Skud 18 (two person) and the Sonar (three person).  It is expected to have over 100 boats and 40 nations competing.
